Case Study: Performance channels optimization

Tuning of Google, Seznam, Criteo, Facebook, and Price comparison sites

The Czech online market is much more difficult to enter than the Slovak one, due to much greater competition and greater sensitivity of customers to prices and discounts. At the same time, it is specific due to the strong presence of Seznam as a local competitor to Google. In such a highly competitive environment, there is much higher pressure to have well-tuned performance campaigns.

We chose advertising on Google search network, Google shopping, and the content network as the most appropriate online mix. We maintained a similar campaign structure we had in Google also in Sklik for Seznam ad network. We used the Criteo platform for personalized retargeting of customers who saw the product or added it to the cart. We also chose retargeting on Facebook, where we used the automated ROI Hunter tool.

Why make the most of these channels? We focused on automating our campaigns as much as possible.

We made the most of product and category feeds and created automated campaigns via PPC Bee. PPC Bee tool will launch thousands of targeted advertising campaigns for categories or products in a short time. The tool allows you to prepare campaigns directly in the interface quickly and efficiently. We link the client’s data files and set up campaigns and specify their rules directly in the tool. Keep in mind the fact that the bigger the account the more time you save.

As part of in-store advertising (Google Shopping), we focused on optimizing product data, especially product headlines and descriptions, to make them more relevant to search terms. Key attributes should be well-tuned and well-described to fit the product being sold and to be useful to the user.

In order to be able to precisely set the required cost of campaigns, we used automated bidding Magic Script. We used the already mentioned ROI Hunter tool for the Facebook channel. At the same time, we optimized the site for organic search.

Results: Turnover increased by 27%

eyerim’s total turnover on the Czech market increased by 27% between 2019 and 2018.
